At Community Pathway, giving back has always been at the heart of everything we do. It all started with Evolving Lives, a therapy and counseling service founded four years ago with a strong focus on community enrichment. While Evolving Lives was a for-profit business, it was never about financial gain—it was about impacting lives through accessible and affordable mental health services.

From the beginning, Evolving Lives maintained a commitment to community impact, offering annual conferences, enrichment workshops, and educational scholarships. The support we received from community partners, friends, and family made it possible to extend our reach and truly make a difference. It’s a testament to the saying, "It takes a village."

Community Pathway is a natural next step—an evolution of our mission. As a nonprofit, Community Pathway allows us to expand our work and make a deeper impact on those we serve. Through programs like BeautifulYOU, the My Beautiful Conference, and the Alice Whitlow Scholarship, we provide enrichment, mental and physical wellness services, and create a sense of belonging for all, especially those from systemically maltreated and historically excluded populations.
